Output Values and Descriptions

This page describes the output values returned by the Geosapiens API for both flood and wildfire risk assessments.

Note: Most outputs are calculated separately for Structure, Inventory, or Equipment.

Description

  • {model}FloodIndex : Flood index based on return period. (Range: 1 to 10)
  • {model}StructureFloodScore : Flood score based on the Average Annual Loss (AAL) for the given structure. (Range: 1 to 10)
  • {model}{asset}Aal : Average Annual Loss for the specified asset.
  • {model}{asset}AalDefFail : AAL assuming flood defenses fail for the specified asset.
  • {model}{asset}AalDefOverTop : AAL assuming flood defenses are overtopped for the specified asset.
  • {model}{asset}Pml1500 : Probable Maximum Loss at 1-in-1500 year return period for the specified asset.
  • {model}{asset}Pml1500DefFail : PML assuming defenses fail for the specified asset.
  • {model}{asset}Pml1500DefOverTop : PML assuming defenses are overtopped for the specified asset.
  • wildfireIndex : Index representing wildfire risk. (Range: 1 to 10)

Other output fields include all three asset types (Structure, Inventory, Equipment) across all hazard models.
